The Basketball England 2014-15 season will reach its climax this weekend with six all-action sets of Junior Final Fours taking place at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield.
Teams in the U14, U16 and U18 age groups for both boys and girls will compete across the two days, as a year of hard work culminates in each team needing just two more wins to be crowned national champions.
London Region has representation in each age group, they are:
U14 boys – London Greenhouse Pioneers South & Newham NASSA
U14 girls – Hounslow Hawks & GCA Haringey Angels. U16 boys – Newham Youngblood Dynamo’s.
U16 girls – Peckham Pride
. Our U18 men will see London Greenhouse Pioneers challenge Peckham Pride in the semi-finals in a hope to lift the trophy.
Our U18 women are hoping to progress from their semi-finals for a London derby in the finals between Newham Youngblood Amazons and Peckham Pride
Entry to the event is FREE and we are hoping our Clubs home supporters will travel to cheer on London Youths at EIS-Sheffield against some of the most talented young basketball players in the country.
Well done to all the teams this season and We wish them (coach, players, volunteers & supporters) every success in the future …..
