On the 21st June the Under 14 and 15 boy’s and girl’s teams will play their first games in the 12th Edition of the Copenhagen Invitational Basketball Tournament where they will be competing against teams from all over the world. The London Region is represented in all teams:

This tournament comes after two intense training camps at the National Basketball Performance Centre where all the players selected for the England teams battled against each other for a spot in the final squads that are traveling to Copenhagen.
Basketball England’s Performance & Technical Manager Steve Bucknall said “The England Talent Programme has been put in place to support the development of those with elite potential. The Copenhagen tournament is another great opportunity to ensure that appropriate exposures is given to our Young Players so that they can demonstrate their international potential for the future.” As all the selected players begin preparations for the tournament.
